Below are a range of resources to download and print to support your child's learning in Maths with suggested ideas of how to use each resource.
Numicon pieces
- order the pieces from 1-10
- find all of the number bonds to 10
- add different pieces to find the total
- write the number formation to match each piece
- write 1 more and 1 less for each piece
Part-part-whole model
- draw dots or write numbers in the part-part circles for children to add together to find the whole
- draw dots or write numbers in the whole circle for children to work out different combinations of numbers that can be made from the whole
Ten frame
- find different ways of colouring the ten frame to show the number bonds to 10
- colour different amounts of the ten frames to count and add
Prepositions mat
- move different objects to the correct place when you say a preposition
- say the preposition of where an object is
2D/3D shape mat
- name the shape
- discuss the shape's properties (sides, edges, faces)
- say how the shapes are similar and different
- spot the shapes in objects around the house
