Seahorse the Shyest Fish in the Sea


This half term we will be exploring Seahorse the Shyest Fish in this Sea. This Non-Fiction text gives us the opportunity to discover the secrets of one of the oceans endangered creatures - the seahorse. We will dive into the magical, underwater realm of one of the shyest fish of all! We will learn the secrets of a seahorse's life-cycle and find out about its food, its habitat, and how it is the dad, not the mum, who gives birth to their babies!

Seahorse Movement

Today we thought about the way seahorses move in the sea. We listened carefully to our story and picked out all the words that describe their movements from twisting and twirling to bending and dancing. We had lots of fun imaging that we were seahorses moving through the sea.
