St Patrick's Summer Tea Party - 22.06.18

Working together to help our children...

Through FOS, we aim to enrich our children's school experience by raising money for equipment and facilites outside of the school's budget.  We want to help nurture a stong relationship between the school and all families connected with St Patrick's.  By working together, we can create a thriving school community and positive school environment for everyone.
Just by supporting our events, you can be a part of this and have fun with friends and family at the same time!

We are excited to be able to give you lots of information about future events and fundraising activities.

New Members Welcome!

We know how hard it can be for new families to understand exactly what is going on around school and we are here to help.  Our Facebook Page is a great place to start, as we will provide helpful reminders of the busy school calendar.

We have been very happy to welcome many new members to the meetings we hold.  It is always good to be able to gather new ideas an opinons on ideas for events, fundraising, or ways to spend the money we raise.  Our current FOS committee is very keen to ensure the longevity of the group by planning succession over the next few years.

New faces are always welcome at the meetings and events.  Please feel welcome to come and simply listen to what we do.  No-one is pressured to become a volunteer simply by attending a meeting!

New Ideas on How to Support School?

We are always keen to support school with new events, activities and resources, and are always looking for new ideas or recommendations.  Do you know of any other things that have worked well at other schools/groups?

If you have any suggestions, please pass them on by speaking to someone from the FOS or email us at friendsofstpats@btinternet.com

Quiz Night

Thank you so much to everyone who attended the most recent Quiz night.  Well done to the winning team - who definitely did not 'have a fear of quizzes!'

Thank you to everyone who helped to set up, run the bar, prepare and serve the food and clear away at the end!

Coffee Afternoon

Thank you to everyone who supported the recent Coffee Afternoon in aid of the DB12 foundation.  This was another well supported event and so much was raised for an excellent cause.

Summer Tea Party

Following the EYFS, Y1 and Y2 Sports Day on 22.06.18, we will be holding a Summer Tea Party and we would welcome your support.

Please come along for tea, treats and tombolas!

If you would like to know more, feel free to join us at the next meeting - there will be many ways you can support the event - spreading the word, helping on a stall, baking a cake....

Company Charitable Giving and Support

In recent years, we have been very fortunate to recieve corporate donations from Barclays and Lloyds TSB banks courtesy of their charitable support program.  Parents who volunteered at the Summer Fayre, used this scheme to have takings matched by their employers.  We have previously received over £1500 through this scheme.
As we are a registered Charity, your company might also offer the chance to get paid time off to volunteer as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.  If this is so, we would love to hear from you.
