Latest Fundraising Project!

Turning over a new leaf....

We are proud to be supporting school's plans for a new school library.  It looks amazing and is sure to encourage more independent reading amongst all of our children.  More news about the launch will be available soon.

Working together to help our children...

Through FOS, we aim to enrich our children's school experience by raising money for equipment and facilites outside of the school's budget.  We want to help nurture a stong relationship between the school and all families connected with St Patrick's.  By working together, we can create a thriving school community and positive school environment for everyone.
Just by supporting our events, you can be a part of this and have fun with friends and family at the same time!

We are excited to be able to give you lots of information about future events and fundraising activities.

New Members Welcome!

We know how hard it can be for new families to understand exactly what is going on around school and we are here to help.  Our Facebook Page is a great place to start, as we will provide helpful reminders of the busy school calendar.

We have been very happy to welcome many new members to the meetings we hold.  It is always good to be able to gather new ideas an opinons on ideas for events, fundraising, or ways to spend the money we raise.  Our current FOS committee is very keen to ensure the longevity of the group by planning succession over the next few years.

New faces are always welcome at the meetings and events.  Please feel welcome to come and simply listen to what we do.  No-one is pressured to become a volunteer simply by attending a meeting!

New Ideas on How to Support School?

We are always keen to support school with new events, activities and resources, and are always looking for new ideas or recommendations.  Do you know of any other things that have worked well at other schools/groups?

If you have any suggestions, please pass them on by speaking to someone from the FOS or email us at friendsofstpats@btinternet.com

Tea and Tissues! - Parents of New Starters Update.

We helped to welcome our new starters with tea and cake for the new Parents.  We would like to welcome any Parents new to St Patrick's - we are here to enrich your families experience of the school and encourage you to help us do this by supporting our events.  To those Parents who are already part of the family - help us spread the word about events and activities within your year group.

We are hoping for another busy and fun-filled year raising money for our school.

Coffee Afternoon - TBC

We run half-termly coffee afternoons as a great opportunity to meet up with other parents for a chat, a cuppa and a slice of cake!  Thanks to all the many talented and generous bakers, and all who support this successful event!

Company Charitable Giving and Support

In recent years, we have been very fortunate to recieve corporate donations from Barclays and Lloyds TSB banks courtesy of their charitable support program.  Parents who volunteered at the Summer Fayre, used this scheme to have takings matched by their employers.  We have previously received over £1500 through this scheme.
As we are a registered Charity, your company might also offer the chance to get paid time off to volunteer as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Policy.  If this is so, we would love to hear from you.
